Meet your PT
Hello everyone,
I'm Dana, a passionate fitness enthusiast and lifelong athlete.
I am an American from New York who once day dreamed of living the life down in the Caribbean back in June 2006. It was short lived as I left for the US Navy in November of that same year. Life though has a funny way of sorting things out sometimes. I say that because exactly 10 years later being June 2016 I ended up in Aruba anyways, and have been here ever since.
Hands down it has been one of the best decisions I ever made. Not only do I love the island, but I do what I love which is staying active. Whether that’s hitting the gym, swimming, or going for a nice run at sunrise or sunset.
I’ve been active in sports since I was 6 years old whether that was playing Soccer, American Football, Lacrosse, Wrestling, Track & Field, Boxing, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Weight training has been a huge part of my life since I was 15 years old back in 2000. Yes I am aware that I’m getting old, but I certainly don’t look so. What’s my secret besides good genes and eating proper? Simple.. staying active. In fact the reason I joined the US Navy when I did was to be a diver, which requires individuals to be in peak physical condition. I trained with the special forces, and passed the physical exam to be a diver, but was denied entry due to not having the required 20/20 vision which my recruiter conveniently left out.
Not only is staying in shape of utmost importance to me, but I genuinely enjoy helping others with like minded aspirations get there as well or those individuals looking to just maintain their physique. I’m excited to be part of the Body Works Program; here to inspire, motivate and reach your fitness. Whether you’re looking to push your limits, beef up, or just stay energized and healthy. I am here to guide you every step of the way.
One day or Day one.. Lets make it happen

It will not free you from all your problems, but by experiencing how you create your fear and uneasiness, you will learn to control your thoughts and its compelling grip can be loosened. You may find that the openness of your mind is infinitely closer to you than your mindset. In this openness you can relax, unwind and gain new energy. Your heart has room. This is invaluable. Not just for yourself, but for everyone around you.
Zen is sitting on a meditation cushion or lying on a yoga mat, whatever feels comfortable to you. We get to know the mind and train ourselves to stop being captivated by thoughts and emotions. Zen is a way of life, a way of contemplating life and acting from that contemplation. Zen is a lifelong exercise in liberated living.
